Here's when new Macs will be released in 2016

Apple will launch new Mac models in 2016 and today we have information regarding the plans of those from Cupertino regarding the moments of appearance of these products on the market, the American company intending to launch the models at different periods of time from each other.

According to the company's partners Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, new models of MacBook 12 inch and 13.3 inch would go into production at the end of this fiscal quarter or at the beginning of the next one, so basically we are talking about the start in March or April, the launch could take place in May.

Regarding MacBook Pro 15-inch, Apple partners expect that production to be initiated in the third quarter of the year, so we are talking about the period July - September, so the launch on the market could take place in the summer or at the beginning of autumn.

About iMac 2016 absolutely nothing is known for now, but the update of this product line could take place at the end of the year, so the production could start towards the end of the third fiscal quarter, the launch could take place in November or maybe even December.

Apple's Mac-series product shipments are expected to remain at a level similar to that of 2015 at around 20 million units in 2016. Makers in the supply chain are expected to start producing new 12- and 13.3-inch MacBooks at the end of the first quarter or in the early second quarter, and 15-inch models in the third quarter, said the sources.

Apple sold 20 million Macs in 2015 and analysts expect the number of units sold worldwide to be at least as high in 2016, as Apple prepares to implement Skylake processors in future laptops.
