A 23-year-old Apple keyboard works with the iPad

23 years ago, the Apple company launched an adjustable keyboard for Mac owners, it had a price of 219 dollars at that time, it was made up of two pieces that were interconnected with a cable as you can see in the image below.

Although the keyboard is over 23 years old, an American thought to try to connect it to an iPad Air 2 tablet and as you can see in the image below, his initiative seems to have been crowned with success, the keyboard working on iOS.

To connect the adjustable keyboard to the iPad, an ADB cable and a USB adapter were used, the Lightning port taking over all the commands that the user gives through the keyboard, the iOS acting on the writing commands or those for certain shortcuts.

Although this was not the idea of those from Apple when they started promoting the iPad tablet for the business environment, it is amazing to see how old and new technologies can work together, even if they are separated by 23 years.
