Google will release a virtual reality headset in 2016

Google is preparing to launch a virtual reality headset during 2016, the American company is going to expand offer from Google Cardboard which he has offered for several years to global users, this product being free for now.

Although we are not talking about Google Cardboard, we are still talking about a similar system because users will have to insert a smartphone into a piece of plastic with lenses through which they will be able to see content specially created for this type of virtual reality systems.

No one knows yet exactly what the Google company intends to offer, but the product should be better than Samsung Gear VR and inferior to similar systems HTC Vive, so we are not talking about something that will revolutionize the world, but about something that will improve the current experience.

Together with this product, Google's new virtual reality headset should have native support in Android starting this year, the complete integration between software and hardware will provide a much better experience for users all over the world.

Of course, for now Google has not confirmed the rumors regarding its intentions to develop a virtual reality headset, but as long as we are not talking about something complex, but about a new piece of plastic connected to an iPhone, then we still have a lot to wait until virtual reality will become really useful.
