iPhone 5se - impressive sales in the first 12 months

iPhone 5se would generate impressive sales in the first 12 months of availability on the market, or at least that's what an American analyst suggests, who is waiting with great interest for the moment when Apple's new smartphone would be launched on the market.

The other day we learned that the iPhone 5 will be released on March 18, just 4 days after the official presentation, and the American analyst claims that Apple will sell approx. 30 million units in the first 12 months of the product's potential, the figure representing approximately two thirds of iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S sales.

The American analyst estimated that Apple sold approximately 46 million iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S terminals in 2015, but that the sales of these products would decrease to 21.6 million units, and in total the sales of these mid-end terminals should increase compared to those recorded in the same category in 2015.

The American analyst claims that the average selling price of iPhone 5se, iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S will be 500 dollars in 2015, these three products will reduce the sales of iPhone 5 terminals by up to 6 million units, but here it remains to be seen what will happen.

Sell 30 million iPhone 5se's which would be about two-thirds of iPhone 5c and 5s sales in fiscal 2015. Cannibalize 5 million iPhone 6's with an average selling price of $600. Generated an incremental $7.8 billion in revenue. At an operating margin of 25% vs. the 30.5% for the whole company in fiscal 2015 it would be $1.95 billion of operating profit.

According to the same analyst, Apple's revenues would increase by up to 7.8 billion dollars in 2016 thanks to the launch of the iPhone 5S, the amount being very high even if we are talking about those from Cupertino, but everything is based on sales of 30 million units of the terminal .

Having said that, it remains to be seen if the iPhone 5 will have the success that American analysts predict for it.
