Facebook and Google will file motions in support of Apple

Last night the Apple company gave an official answer to the court that forced it to decrypt an iPhone in the possession of the FBI and used by a terrorist before an attack that took place in the USA, and today we learn that Facebook and Google will submit motions to the court in support of Apple.

Google and Facebook have announced through their presidents that they support the Apple company and its efforts to keep iOS safe in front of government agencies, and now they will offer their support including in court, something that could count quite a lot in favor of Apple.

Separately from the two companies, including Twitter, Microsoft, WhatsApp, the Electronic Frontier Foundation and the American Civil Liberties Union intend to file motions in favor of Apple, so it will be interesting to see what the court will decide after analyzing the documents.

Apple explained that everything the FBI is asking for is extremely dangerous and that it affects the security of users all over the planet, and the same thing will most likely be done by the entities that will support it in court, they have just as much to lose like Apple.

Although each of these companies supports Apple, they also collaborate with the FBI and provide data about users when court orders are sent to them, strengthening security exposing them to scandals similar to the one Apple is going through.
