Apple publishes the list of supporters in the fight with the FBI

During this day the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), published on its own website a list of supporting documents submitted by various entities to the court that judges a claim of FBI to force Apple to unlock a iPhone used by a terrorist in an armed attack that took place in the USA last year.

These documents submitted in support of the Apple company have the role of convincing the court that judges the FBI's request that the FBI is wrong when it asks the Apple company to compromise the security of iOS in order to unlock the iPhone used by the terrorist.

Although Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook, Google and other companies have announced that they want to support Apple in a similar way, so far only a UN representative, a relative of a victim and three NGOs actually submitted documents supporting the fight of Apple against the FBI.

An American judge has already given profit because of the Apple company in the trial of a similar case involving the FBI even without the support of others, but in the case of San Bernadino the judge made a decision obliging Apple to help the FBI, so it will be interesting to see how he will think on appeal with documents of this kind in front of.
