Ruggie: The alarm clock that successfully fights against sleep

If you have serious problems waking up in the morning, and absolutely no alarm manages to wake you up in the first place, Ruggie seems to be the ideal partner. Why am I saying this? Because it sits like a companion at the edge of your bed and helps you wake up instantly, being in fact an alarm clock mat.

Ruggie is a pressure-sensitive alarm clock designed by Winson Tam and a team of entrepreneurs based in Vancouver and Hong Kong that forces you to get out of bed.

The alarm has absolutely no snooze or stop option, it just "asks" you to stand on it with both feet for 3 seconds. If it is touched with only one foot, the alarm will not stop. Winson Tam invented Ruggie due to his own experience with awakening. He thought that for other people, waking up in the morning represents a battle that they have to fight, against sleep. Thus, he created Ruggie to help others get out of bed more easily.

I would say that this alarm clock would make you go down more nervous and irritable than easier and with the thought of being productive. What do you say?
