Apple Watch sales could decrease in 2016

Sales Apple Watch could go into decline after only one year of availability on the market, or at least that's what an analyst who in the past only gave us valid information about the products claims Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), which have not yet been launched on the market.

Ming-Chi Kuo, the famous Asian analyst from whom we heard so many true rumors, claims that Apple Watch sales are to decrease in 2016 to 7.5 million units compared to 10.6 million units how much would have been registered during the last year, the difference being large.

The Apple company has not published figures regarding Apple Watch sales, so here we are talking about simple estimates regarding the success of the smart watch from Cupertino, other analysts are of the opinion that Apple sold more units of the Apple Watch in 2015.

If we were to believe this estimate, then Apple Watch sales would decrease by more than 25% in 2016 compared to 2015, and if this turns out to be true, then Apple will have a serious problem with a new product that is part of - a growing category.

Motivating his estimate, the analyst claims that although the wearables market is far from mature, the biggest problem with the Apple Watch is that the product does not offer enough functions and benefits to convince many users to buy it from Apple.

Without really useful apps, with low autonomy and high dependence on the iPhone, the Apple Watch is not an attractive enough smartwatch for many smartphone users, and this will affect sales if the Apple Watch 2 does not solve all these problems.

That said, it will be interesting to see what the analysts estimate at the end of the year, but for now it looks like 2016 could be a disappointing year for Apple Watch sales.
