Google claims that YouTube ads are more effective than those for TV

Company Google published during this day the rather interesting results of a study carried out in various areas around the globe, the American company claiming that advertisements displayed before or during the viewing of video clips YouTube are more effective than those shown on TV.

Those from Google claims that advertisements displayed through YouTube are up to 80% more effective than those displayed on televisions, and this explains why more and more money is being invested in the famous video sharing network instead of broadcasts or television series.

Going even further, those from Google argue that advertisers should invest 6 times more money in YouTube to make the previous investments count, the American company trying to make YouTube ads relevant, even though many people hate them.

Considering that YouTube's access rate has grown steadily as mobile internet speeds have improved and users have received more and more traffic integrated into subscriptions, it is normal for the effectiveness of YouTube ads to grow along with the global audience.

We found that while TV maintains a powerful impact in the digital age, digital video is under-invested in several categories we measured in the UK, France and Germany. What this study really shows... is that online video is a better advertising investment than other forms of online advertising.

Googlers have struggled to make YouTube profitable and as it starts to generate more and more money there will be more and more attacks on the TV advertising industry, Googlers seriously attacking the tens of billions of dollars invested now in promotion through the medium of television.
