iPhones record weak sales in T2 2016 as well

iPhone sales continue to decline in Q2 2016 amid the decline in global smartphone sales.

After the disappointing Q1 2016 from the point of view of sales, the Apple company does not seem to have a better Q2, its Asian partners claiming that the Americans have again reduced orders for components dedicated to iPhone smartphones.

Asians confirm the fact that in Q2 2016 the orders for components dedicated to iPhones were lower than those received in the same period last year, a sign that sales are not really that great, Apple taking the decision to reduce expenses in this segment.

The problem seems to be big for the end of the year, because Apple does not order large quantities of components for the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, a sign that high sales of these two new terminals are not anticipated in Cupertino.

Even if Apple has problems with sales, the Asians claim that the rest of the smartphone manufacturers are not doing any better either, the orders coming from them for components being lower than in previous years, a sign that the entire smartphone market would be in decline

Chip orders from Apple have been relatively slow in the second quarter of 2016 compared to the same quarter in previous years. In addition, there is still no sign of a substantial rise in chip orders from Apple for the third quarter. Overall chip demand from other device vendors has also been disappointing.

Although it was said in 2015 that the smartphone market has reached saturation, last year the most terminals of this kind were sold in their entire history, but 2016 could be a problematic year not only for Apple, but also for the rest of the manufacturers .

It was expected that Apple would have problems this year with its iPhones since the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus were not so well received by users, but few expected that the rest of the manufacturers would also have problems with sales.
