Facebook Live tells you when a video clip becomes interesting

Company Facebook confirmed the implementation of a new function for Facebook Live, so that starting from the next period, users will be shown the interesting moment of a recorded stream, so they will no longer have to follow an entire recording to reach the point that interests them.

Facebook uses a series of algorithms to identify the moment when a live stream becomes interesting, and when playing the recording it will mark those moments in the stream, so that users know where to start watching the video clip to directly follow the interesting part.

The identification of these moments is based on the reactions that users have through likes, emoticons or comments, and in the image below you can see how those moments will be marked in the recording of a live stream made via Facebook Live.

Now Facebook tells me it's putting reactions to work to power a visualized timeline of when a Live video receives the most engagement. When you go to fast-forward through the recorded replay of a Live clip, you'll see the graph of reaction volume overlaid on the progress bar. Essentially, you'll be able to see when the video gets interesting and skip there if you want.

The change was confirmed yesterday by the Facebook company and should be available for Facebook Live in the next period, so it is very possible to see it soon if you follow the recordings made by various people through Facebook Live.
