An EU country has decided that employees will no longer be obliged to respond to emails

The BBC mentioned this month that Francois Hollande's Socialist Party was about to vote on a law giving employees the "right to disconnect" from the workplace and not to respond to emails.

This category does not include any company, however, companies with more than 50 employees will be the ones obliged to present a plan containing the hours (evenings and weekends, in particular) when employees are not obliged to respond to electronic messages , regardless of the problems.

The decision was taken due to the fact that the French government insists that the idea of permanent connection represents a growing problem, on which a series of measures must be taken.
