ASUS ZenBook 3 was announced today, being thinner, lighter and faster than the MacBook.

ASUS ZenBook 3 was presented this morning by the ASUS company at Computex, and according to the Asians, their new ultrabook is lighter, thinner and faster than the 12-inch MacBook, the thinnest laptop that Apple currently sells.

ASUS ZenBook 3 weighs only 907 grams and a thickness of 11.9mm, 1mm less than the previous model, MacBook 12 inch having 920 grams and a thickness of 13.1mm, the differences not being major, but they exist and put the ASUS product at the top at the moment.

ASUS ZenBook 3 it is easier thanks to a new type of aluminum alloy used in airplanes, which is 40% stronger than the aluminum normally used in ultrabooks, its use reducing the weight of the new model by 400 grams compared to the previous one.

In terms of hardware, ASUS ZenBook 3 benefits from an Intel i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB PCIe SSD, a screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4, a USB-C port that allows charging the battery up to 60% in 49 minutes and offers 9 hours of autonomy, the smaller fan, only 3mm, for erasing being implemented together with a fingerprint reader.

The price of ASUS ZenBook 3 will be 999 dollars with an i5 processor, 4 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD, but the versions with superior hardware can reach up to 1999 dollars, so we are talking about a pricing strategy similar to that of Apple, availability not being announced yet.
