Microsoft is trying hard to convince application developers to try the Windows platform

Microsoft desperately needs developers for Windows 10, but most of those who are able to create applications prefer to allocate their time to create applications dedicated to iOS and then Android, Windows not having any place in the plans of many.

In the middle is the money, because iOS generates the largest revenues for developers, Android is a long distance behind it, and at an even greater distance behind we find Microsoft's Windows, which is avoided by many.

Application developers are one of the financial pillars of the Apple company, they generate approximately 10 billion dollars annually for Apple from the sale of applications through the App Store, and Microsoft would like to steal at least a part of this amount.

In a desperate attempt to attract developers to its platform, Microsoft will hold a special party after the first day of WWDC 2016, inviting all application developers interested in learning more about the process of launching applications for Windows.

Microsoft collaborates with Xamarin to organize this party, it being organized in the afternoon of June 13, after the end of the WWDC 2016 sessions, but it is unlikely that many developers will be willing to participate in what the companies have prepared.

The party will be held in the Twitter headquarters, which is located behind the building where WWDC 2016 takes place, and those present can win an Apple Watch or an Xbox One, so there are some reasons to participate even if you are not a brilliant developer.
