Instagram has 500 million monthly active users

Instagram has 500 million monthly active users, the announcement being made during this day by the company that manages the famous photo sharing network, the figure being an impressive one regardless of the company we are discussing and the service it offers.

Of the 500 million people who use the Instagram application every month, 300 million of them use the application daily, so more than half of the users are constantly active on the network Instagram, so the usage rate is very high for company applications.

In September, Instagram announced that it has 400 million monthly active users, managing to increase its user base by 100 million people in 9 months, the same achievement being made with regard to the reporting from 2014 compared to the reporting from the year 2015.

Basically, Instagram has a constant growth rate of 100 million users every 9 months, so we are talking about a little over 10 million users who are added monthly to the user base of the Instagram network, the company's achievements being impressive at the moment.

Today, we're excited to announce our community has grown to more than 500 million Instagrammers — more than 300 million of whom use Instagram every single day. Our community also continues to become even more global, with more than 80 percent living outside of the United States.

According to Instagram, 95 million photos and videos are published daily within its network, over 4.2 billion likes are given by users, but recently it was discovered that the rate of interaction of users with the content published on Instagram is continuously decreasing.

Instagram is one of the largest video sharing networks existing on the planet at the moment, it being owned by the Facebook company.
