WhatsApp Messenger will allow you to invite your friends to chat groups by scanning a QR code that can be sent by any of the people participating in that group chat, the image below showing the available options for sharing invitations.
Practically, the user now has the option not only to share the link to that group conversation, but also the option to send a QR code that any person can scan to enter that conversation, the WhatsApp Messenger application will allow scanning automatic of these codes in a next version.
Normally, iOS cannot scan QR codes without a special application installed in our devices, it must be specially designed to recognize the information from the various types of QR codes, so the use of this method is not so indicated, but WhatsApp seems to prefer it.
This new function of WhatsApp Messenger is going to be offered to the general public in the next period, but for now no one knows when, so we will have to wait until the moment when we can enjoy the new functions that are going to be offered to us.
