WhatsApp Messenger is going to bring an important change to the way we record photos using our iPhones, so starting with one of the following final versions, the application will allow us to record Live Photos that we can later transform into animated images like GIF.
This function gives us the possibility to share Live Photos type pictures to any kind of other mobile terminals that are not able to see them, i.e. especially Android ones, the application WhatsApp Messenger being the first messaging app that offers the possibility to transform pictures in this way directly from our terminals.
Normally Live Photos can be recorded using only the latest Apple iPhones and can be viewed on any iDevices, but Android smartphones are not able to play them, and WhatsApp Messenger will solve this problem for everyone with its new functionality.
Unfortunately, no one knows for now when the new version of the application that includes this function will be released, but we probably won't have to wait very long because we are talking about a fairly simple modification that WhatsApp can offer without testing it for a very long time with users from all over the world.
