Apple announces the opening of the first academy for application development in Naples

A few months ago, the Apple company announced the opening of an academy for application developers for the iOS platform at the University of Frederico II in Naples, and now we learn that it is going to start its courses in October of this year in the new campus in San Giovanni Teduccio.

According to those from Apple and the representatives of the university, no less than 200 students will learn for free how to develop applications for the iOS platform, the courses being thought to take place for a period of 9 months, more students will be integrated into the second year.

As part of the partnership with Apple, the university will have laboratories equipped with the latest Apple products and there is a chance that some engineers from Cupertino will participate in certain courses to demonstrate how to implement certain functions in iDevice/Mac applications.

These courses will help the Apple company to increase the number of applications available in the App Store, because more and more developers will be tempted to produce applications for iDevices, but no one knows what kind of quality they will have, considering that we are talking about developers who are just starting out.

Students will take part in a nine month curriculum designed and supported by Apple, with a dedicated facility at the new Campus in San Giovanni a Teduccio. The facility includes labs and access to the latest Apple hardware and software.

Apple intends to open an application development center in Europe, but for now it is not known how long it will take until the plans of those in Cupertino are fulfilled.
