Facebook - 1 billion dollar lawsuit opened by relatives of people killed in Israel

Last week I told you that Facebook is a monster, or at least that's how the government of Israel describes the social network, he being extremely upset because the Palestinians can organize attacks against Israeli soldiers using Facebook, which is completely unacceptable for them.

Considering that the public reprimands did not help anything, now a lawsuit has been filed against Facebook by the relatives of no less than 5 Israeli and American citizens killed as a result of attacks by Palestinians, which took place in Tel Aviv and the West Bank between 2014 - 2016.

In the process, the amount of 1 billion dollars is requested as compensation, Facebook being asked for this colossal amount because the social network played an essential role in the ability of Hamas to organize in order to carry out attacks terrorists against Israelis.

More precisely, Facebook is a platform through which soldiers are recruited and the movements made by Hamas troops are communicated, and the lawyers of the victims' relatives claim that they have evidence that shows very clearly that two of the terrorists used their Facebook accounts to carry out terrorist activities in recent years.

A group of Israelis and Americans filed a lawsuit on Monday seeking $1 billion in damages from Facebook for allegedly facilitating deadly Palestinian militant attacks on their loved ones. The plaintiffs, relatives of four Israeli-US dual nationals and one visiting US citizen who died in attacks in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem or the occupied West Bank between 2014 and 2016, accused Facebook of helping Hamas militants operate.

Facebook has not yet commented on the situation and it is unlikely that it will, especially since until now it campaigned for freedom of expression within the social network, but terrorists take advantage of this and kill innocent people with attacks organized through the platform of the American company.

Of course, there will not be any judge who will award such large compensations against those from Facebook, but the process could be used to limit the freedom of expression of terrorists within social networks, which will not be so bad.
