Apple continues to diversify its employee base

To begin with, the number of women employed within Apple increased by one percent compared to last year, now reaching 32%, the remaining 68% being represented by men, so Apple is a company where the majority of employees are men, and this is the situation for almost all US IT companies.

Regarding the race and ethnicity of employees, the Apple company claims that 19% of its employees are Asian, 9% "black", 12% Hispanic, 2% multiracial, 1% in other categories, but 56% of Apple employees are "white ", the latter percentage increasing by 2% compared to the same period last year.

The interesting part is that Apple managed to equalize the salaries between men and women within the company starting from August 2016, so people who work in the same positions and have similar performances, receive similar amounts of money, regardless of sexual orientation, race, And so on
