A Japanese gymnast made a record bill after playing Pokemon Go

Kohei Uchimura, 27-year-old Japanese gymnast, Olympic champion in London, received a bill of around 4.400 euros after playing Pokemon Go in Rio de Janeiro, after arriving in Brazil for the Olympics that start tomorrow.

Apparently, the gymnast was not bothered by the fact that the popular game is not yet available in Brazil, which means that there are no Pokemon either.

After receiving the invoice, Uchimura "He looked dead at the team meal that day.", said another member of the Japanese gymnastics team, Kenzo Shirai.

Indulgently, the telephone company accepted that Uchimura pay, instead of that record amount, a daily rate equivalent to 26 euros.

"I was really lucky", Kohei Uchimura said for the Kyodo agency.
