This week we told you that the Cydia application has implemented a system that allows its users ask and automatically receive back the money paid for tweaks and applications which they are not satisfied with, the implementation of this option having to be done a long, long time ago.
According to the creator Cydia, saurik, users can request a refund for purchased tweaks and applications only if they cumulatively meet two conditions, namely: no more than 24 hours have passed since the purchase, and the respective package was uninstalled by users before be asked for the money back.
If one of the two conditions is not met, then the application Cydia will refuse to automatically start the process of returning the money spent for the packages that the users are not satisfied with, so do not try to take advantage of the system if you know that you do not cumulatively fulfill both of the above conditions.
How to ask for the money paid for tweaks and applications from Cydia
To receive the money back, you must follow the instructions below:
- Open the Cydia application.
- Access the menu with installed packages and uninstall the package for which you want to ask for the money back.
- Restart your iDevice.
- Wait 30 minutes.
- Open the Cydia app again.
- On the first page, go to Manage Account > Installable Purchases.
- Look in the respective list for the package for which you want to ask for the money back.
- Press the option Hate it? Get an Automatic Refund.
- In the new named page compensated press Click Here for an Immediate Refund.
- If you have met the previously mentioned conditions, then Cydia will accept the request and confirm this, then the money will reach your account.
It is very important to remember that you will be able to ask for the money only for a limited number of packages installed from Cydia, so do not try to abuse this system just to test tweaks and applications for free, because at some point you will no longer be able to ask for the money back on what you bought.
