iPhone 7 – A10 chip with 2.37 GHz dual-core processor and 3 GB RAM

A new assumption benchmark for iPhone 7, or rather iPhone 7 Plus considering that the code name iPhone9,2 it is specified in the test, it appeared on the Internet and it shows us what we should expect from the future smartphone, at least in terms of its performance.

We are talking about a iPhone 7or 7 iPhone Plus with a A10 chip what has a dual-core processor clocked at 2.37 GHz, But and 3 GB RAM, some of this information being already provided by various rumors that appeared in the last months, the processing power being much higher than that of the current models.

Basically, we can see that this benchmark tells us that iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus will have a processing power that is almost 50% higher than that of the iPhone 6S, this obtaining 2500 points in the single-core tests, or 4300 points in the multi-core ones, so we are talking about an alleged enormous increase.

iPhone 7 performance revealed by a benchmark

The result of this alleged benchmark is even better than the one recorded by the iPad Pro tablet with a 12.9-inch screen, and this in the conditions that it has an equally fast processor, but also with 1 GB of RAM in addition, obtaining scores of 3300 points in the single-core test and 5500 points in the multi-core test.

iPhone 7 Plus benchmark

To be honest, the results of this alleged benchmark for the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus seem to me to be far above what many people expect from the Apple company, the performance increase being generally up to 20% from a model to another, so it's hard to say how real the results are.

Moreover, the benchmark is not found in the Geekbench archive, but this would not be unusual, however, an iPhone 7 Plus with a dual-core processor clocked at 2.37 GHz and with 3 GB of RAM seems too good to be true, especially regarding the working frequency of the processor.

Today's results are weaker than those presented by one supposed previous iPhone 7 benchmark, but there is a possibility that the lower result can be attributed to an iPhone 7 with a weaker processor, and the better result to an iPhone 7 Plus with a more powerful processor.
