For months we have been told that The iPhone 7 will not have an audio port of 3.5mm and for months we have been seeing all kinds of cases made based on sketches of the Apple company, suggesting that a the second speaker is to be mounted instead of that port, the holes closely resembling those of the iPhone's main speaker.
Although months of rumors told us something, the documents with iPhone 7 manufacturing specifications they tell us a completely different story, they suggest that those holes that were thought to be for the diffuser, in reality would be purely cosmetic, and behind them would not hide this component that many people are waiting for.
According to this morning's documents, those holes are supposed to be for the speaker it would actually just hide a microphone and a cable for the microphone, the speaker not being mentioned in any way, so there are chances that Apple will not implement it, and in the end we will receive nothing more than a change meant to make the base of the case symmetrical.
iPhone 7 without the second speaker will be a big disappointment
