WhatsApp: sending GIF images and large emoji characters is demonstrated in a first VIDEO

In the current beta version of the WhatsApp Messenger for iOS some new functions have been discovered that users will be able to enjoy in the future, more precisely we are talking about the function of sending GIF images, of that for the sending of large emoji characters, but also one that allows resending messages to multiple people.

The function for sharing GIF images has been announced in the past, but for now it doesn't seem to be 100% ready to be offered, and the same is true for the function that allows sending large emoji characters, Apple's implementing exactly the same type of functionality in iOS 10's Messages app this year.

In the video clip below you can see these two new functions that WhatsApp Messenger is going to offer us at some point or another, the WhatsApp company has been testing both for more than a month, but for now it does not consider them to be enough good to be offered publicly.

The second function offered for WhatsApp Messenger allows the resending of our messages to multiple groups of people, these being now displayed in a new format, the recent and frequent chats being listed in the application interface, as you can see from the image lower.

Recent chats are those in which you have discussed recently, and frequent chats are those in which you discuss most often, so you will now have the opportunity to see everything in a more efficiently organized format.

It is not known when the new version of WhatsApp Messenger will be launched that has these new functions implemented, but as soon as it is available, I will let you know.
