iPhone 8 could come with OLED screens for some models

The iPhone 8 will have an OLED screen, but we are only talking about the model with a 5.5-inch screen, the one with a 4.7-inch screen will continue to use an IPS LCD screen.

Almost everyone agrees that The iPhone 8 will have an OLED screen, the Apple company preparing to bring a really interesting smartphone to the market next year, but until then we learn that the dreams of some users will not come true exactly as they imagined, Apple seems to have other plans.

Talking to the president of a company specializing in the manufacture of OLED screens, American analysts discovered that Apple could launch a iPhone 8 with OLED screen and another model without such type of screen, the situation being one in which users will have to choose between models with different specifications.

Practically the same thing happens in 2016 because The iPhone 7 Plus has a dual camera, and the iPhone 7 has a standard camera, and in 2017 the differentiation between the two terminal models should be made by the OLED screens, the iPhone 8 Plus being able to have a screen of this type, while the iPhone 8 will have an IPS LCD screen .

The iPhone 8 Plus will come with an OLED screen

Analysts are talking about a "specialized" or "professional" version of the iPhone 8 that will have an OLED screen, and under these conditions, everything I told you above has a very high chance of coming true, the Apple company seems to be more and more interested in differentiating the terminals it sells all over the world.

The current speculation anticipates Apple's adoption of OLED displays in its iPhone in 2017 or 2018. We believe that Apple can adopt OLED displays sooner rather than later by pursuing a partial adoption and incorporating it in a specialized edition of a new iPhone version.

The reason for this partial adoption of OLED screens in the iPhone 8 is based on the fact that there would not be enough companies to produce screens in the quantities required by Apple for two models of the iPhone 8, but most of those who now make LCD screens are reorienting themselves towards OLED, so Apple will have a choice.

To be honest, I don't think it's a totally wrong idea for Apple to release only one iPhone 8 model with an OLED screen, and the other one to be sold with an LCD screen, so that users can see what they're missing out on when they buy the cheaper model.
