The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 does not perform better with a lower resolution

Probably few of you know that Samsung Galaxy Note 7 it has a function that allows the user to reduce the screen resolution from QHD to 720p in order to improve battery life. More precisely, we are talking about a reduction in resolution from 2560 x 1440 pixels to 1280 x 720 pixels, and many would have thought that this would substantially improve performance.

Those from Samsung did not support this, and a comparative test between Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 proves exactly this below. Practically, the terminals have exactly the same performance regardless of which of the two resolutions the applications installed by users from Google Play or other stores run.

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 are equally fast, even if the first has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and the second has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Throughout the tests, the two terminals opened applications as quickly and ran everything the same, even if the difference in resolution is enormous between them.

Well, this theory is completely false, because even the lower resolution does not save the Samsung terminal from its shameful performance.

Basically, the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has a weak graphics card does not matter in any way in the performance equation, and this proves that Android is the problem. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has powerful hardware, but Google's operating system slows it down, so unfortunately not much can be done from this point of view.

In conclusion, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, like future Android terminals, need a more efficient operating system to be faster, not more powerful hardware.
