A Samsung Galaxy Note 7 exploded while charging

A new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 caught fire while charging, with the owner using a third-party charger that generated the flame.

Just a few weeks after a Galaxy Note 7 exploded while charging, today we have a similar situation with the same product of the Korean company Samsung. A Samsung Galaxy Note 7 caught fire while charging in a Korean's house, and in the image below you can see what is left of that device.

In the initial case, we were talking about an unauthorized charger used for charging through the USB-C port, and now the situation seems to be repeating itself, unfortunately. According to the Korean publication BusinessKorea, the owner of this Samsung Galaxy Note 7 would have used a third-party charger and it seems that the terminal did not get along so well with it, so it caught fire.

It seems that the owner of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has talked with the Samsung people and will be compensated for the fact that his terminal refused to charge normally. The fact that Samsung compensates the owner of that terminal is not abnormal, but we are talking about an extremely big problem for the Korean company.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 catches fire while charging, and Samsung has a big problem

Although it is true that charging with unauthorized chargers is not recommended by the manufacturers, the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 catches fire in these situations is a big problem. There will be many people who will charge their terminals in this way, no one can stop them from doing it, but what will Samsung do when the terminals catch fire again?

We are talking about the second case in a week with a Samsung Galaxy Note 7 that caught fire while charging and this before the terminal was launched in many markets around the world. What will happen when even more people receive their terminals and try to use similar accessories to charge their own devices?

"There was another explosion of a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, it was my friend's phone. A Samsung employee checked the post on Kakao Story and is talking to my friend about possible compensation. You should use the original chargers and keep your phones charged away from where you are."

For now, we have little evidence that Samsung could have a major problem on its hands, so it remains to be seen what will happen after other customers receive the terminals. As the situation stands now, however, it seems that some units may need to be recalled for replacement.
