Samsung is suffering because of the Galaxy Note 7

Samsung is starting to suffer because of the Galaxy Note 7, the price of the Korean company's shares falling the other day after the announcement of the suspension of deliveries.

Yesterday I told you that another Samsung Galaxy Note 7 caught fire while charging, and the problems start to accumulate for the Samsung company. Although the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were very successful, and the Galaxy Note 7 is expected to be a hit, Samsung needs to rethink its strategy for the promotion of its terminals.

Yesterday the people from Samsung started to investigate Galaxy Note 7 problems after several terminals exploded while they were being loaded, and the company is already starting to suffer. The batteries used in the Galaxy Note 7 are produced by Samsung SDI, the shares of this company registering a 2.4% decrease in less than a day.

Although Samsung has not officially said what is the cause of the Galaxy Note 7 problems, it seems that those batteries are at the center, or perhaps the charging system used in the new smartphone. No matter what the source of the problems is, those from Samsung are starting to suffer from the incidents, and this at the very moment when the Galaxy Note 7 was being praised for its good sales.

Even if the people whose Galaxy Note 7 terminals exploded were using unauthorized chargers, the simple fact that Samsung stopped deliveries is a worrying sign. Until Samsung announces the exact source of the Galaxy Note 7 problems, people will avoid terminals and wonder if a pre-order is worth keeping.

"Samsung SDI shares, which have been on a continuous rise in recent weeks thanks to good sales, fell by 6.06% yesterday, reaching 96 dollars. Shares of Samsung Electro-Mechanics, the division that produces components, also fell 2.26%. Samsung SDI is the division that produces the Galaxy Note 7 battery cell, with the complete batteries being manufactured by partners.”

Unfortunately, Samsung suffers from problems that could be related to its partners and not to itself, but this matters less to customers. What matters is that the Galaxy Note 7 does not support third-party chargers and instead of stopping charging, it gets angry and explodes, possibly even injuring some people.
