This evening, the Apple company introduced a new function for the iWork suite, namely the Numbers, Pages and Keynote applications, which benefit from real-time collaboration. What this means ? Well, this will allow several people to work on the same documents at the same time, the edits made by them being visible in real time to everyone.
Apple is lagging behind Microsoft with this function, as it has been available for the Office platform for some time, so we are not talking about any innovative function. Apple still has the advantage of having a very large platform of users of Pages, Numbers and Keynote, so this real-time collaboration is extremely beneficial for them.
