Apple: this is how you charge iPhone 7 and listen to music

Apple has the simplest solution to charge the iPhone 7 while listening to music, the use of a dock, thought for something else entirely.

One of the big problems of iPhone 7 it will be impossible to listen to music while the terminal is charging, the new EarPods being connected directly to the Lightning port. Many people have been wondering for several months how everything will work, and Apple has two very simple solutions for us: buy headphones AirPods, or buy a dock.

In an email response to a customer interested in buying the iPhone 7, Phil Schiller, the senior vice president of Apple's marketing division, recommended the purchase of a dock. We are talking about a dock like the one in the image below which is suitable for charging an iPhone 7 when we are at the office, but unsuitable for situations in which we travel.

How could we charge an iPhone 7 and listen when we are on the train, bus, subway, etc., if the Lightning port is occupied, and the dock cannot be easily used outside the house? Phil Schiller likes the AirPods headphones that he uses constantly, and his solution is very good, if these headphones did not have a price of 180 euros.

Apple had the guts to remove the audio port from the iPhone to force us to buy AirPods that are way too expensive for most people.

"Hi Zaheen,

I like to listen on my AirPods while my iPhone 7 Plus is charging because I am free to move around.

However, if you would like to listen to wired headphones while charging an iPhone 7 it is possible to do that as well.

The Apple Lightning Dock includes a headphone jack for using wired headphones or speakers while charging.

I hope that helps."
