A Galaxy Note 7 catches fire along with the owner's car

A Galaxy Note 7 would have been the cause of a fire that completely destroyed the car of a man in the USA, the terminal being left charged.

Yesterday I found out that a The Galaxy Note 7 would have burned down a garage, well today we find out that another terminal caught fire together with its owner's off-road vehicle. We are talking about a man from St. Petersburg, USA, who left his Galaxy Note 7 terminal charging in the car and found out that the terminal had plans for a barbecue instead of a battery charge.

According to him, the Galaxy Note 7 terminal was alone in the car charging it while he was in a neighboring house, but after he sent his daughter into the car and her dog started barking, he looked out the window to discover that the whole car is on fire. Of course, the firefighters were called to the scene, but the car could not be saved.

You can see in the image below that the whole car is smoldering and completely destroyed, and everyone blames the Galaxy Note 7 terminal. When contacted, the people from Samsung stated that they are aware of the incident and are investigating it, but only the fire department will could confirm if the device was to blame, although it is hard to believe otherwise.

From the image it is very clear that the fire is concentrated on the front part of the passenger compartment, so if the man's story is 100% true, then there is a good chance that the Galaxy Note 7 terminal was to blame. If you have such a device at home, take it to a service as soon as possible and do not try to charge it again.

"We are aware of the incident and we are working with Mr. Dornacher to investigate his case and ensure we do everything we can for him. Consumer safety is Samsung's highest priority. With regard to the Galaxy Note7, we are asking owners to take advantage of the Product Exchange Program announced on Friday of last week. The program offers Note7 owners the opportunity to exchange the phone for a new one. More details on the program can be found at http://www.samsung.com/us/note7exchange/.”
