iPhone 6S was put in the background by the Apple company after the presentation iPhone 7, those from Cupertino taking the decision to increase the minimum storage space offered for them. More precisely, Apple will sell iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus with 32 GB and 128 GB of storage space, double what it offered until yesterday for all users.
The doubling of the storage space is done after the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have more storage space available, those from Cupertino probably wanting to have some symmetry in the global offer for iPhone terminals. Starting today, the iPhone 6S 32 GB costs $550 in Apple stores, while the model with 128 GB of storage space costs $650.
iPhone 6S prices are $100 lower than the previous ones, but the storage space offered is double, so customers get more for less money. For the iPhone 6S Plus, we are talking about a similar discount, but a better deal for the model with 128 GB of storage space, which is 200 dollars cheaper than until now.
Apple will actually start selling the new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus models starting tomorrow, so they can be bought together with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It is good that Apple decided to double the storage space in the iPhone 6S after reducing its selling price, but this should have happened much earlier than it has until now.
