Understanding that battery autonomy is a major problem for users, the Apple company clearly specified that iPhone 7 it has the best battery life of all the iPhone models released so far. This is possible thanks to the new A10 Fusion chip implemented by the Americans in their own terminals, but also to better batteries.
It was rumored that the iPhone 7 will have a 1960 mAh battery, over 200 mAh larger than the one in the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 7 Plus having a 2910 mAh battery, 260 mAh larger than the one in the iPhone 6S Plus. By combining this higher energy storage capacity with components that consume less energy, it's easy to see how Apple has improved battery life.
Those from Apple did not provide details about the capacities of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus batteries, but they made two things extremely clear:
- iPhone 7 offers 2 hours of use more than iPhone 6S, i.e. a 30% increase;
- iPhone 7 Plus offers an hour of use more than iPhone 6S Plus, that is, an increase of up to 20%.
iPhone 7 has very good autonomy
According to those from Apple, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 PLus offer the following in terms of autonomy:
iPhone 7:
- Wireless audio: 40 hours
- Wireless video: 13 hours
- Wi-Fi browsing: 14 hours
- LTE browsing: 12 hours
- 3G browsing: 12 hours
- 3G talk (wireless): 14 hours
iPhone 7 Plus:
- Wireless audio: 60 hours
- Wireless video: 14 hours
- Wi-Fi browsing: 15 hours
- LTE browsing: 13 hours
- 3G browsing: 13 hours
- 3G talk (wireless): 21 hours
The specifications are better for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus compared to their predecessors and I explained the percentages above, but is everything as Apple says? Unfortunately, we don't know until we "see", and since then the launch of iPhone 7 in Romania takes place only a week after the aglobal, we won't have long to wait until we are convinced.
