Apple introduced the headsets AirPods during Wednesday as an alternative for those who are upset because iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will no longer have an audio port. We are talking about a pair of wireless headphones that Apple claims can work for a maximum of 5 hours after a charge, which means they have a very good autonomy.
The AirPods headphones come in a special box that can charge them, and the battery included in it can provide up to 24 hours of autonomy for Apple's wireless headphones. Now if you ask how fast they can be charged, well the Apple company says that only 15 minutes of charging is equivalent to 3 hours of listening to music, or an hour of talking on the phone.
Normally, AirPods offer 5 hours of listening to music and 2 hours of talking on the phone, but 15 minutes of charging in the special case offers 3 hours of listening to music and 1 hour of talking on the phone. Apple does not say how long it takes to fully charge the headphones if they are discharged, but considering this fast charging, probably no more than 30 minutes.
We don't know yet what kind of battery is hidden in the AirPods case, or even in the headphones, but in October we will find out all these details, after the headphones are disassembled. It is very clear, however, that Apple has implemented a very fast charging system for them.
