Samsung sued over the Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung was sued because of a Galaxy S7 Edge that caught fire and caused burns to an American's leg.

Although Galaxy Note 7 is in the center of the world's attention lately due to the fact that it has batteries that explode during use, the Galaxy S7 Edge brings a lawsuit to the Samsung company. An American sued Samsung because his Galaxy S7 Edge caught fire instantly while in his pants pocket and injured him.

The man in question suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns on some parts of his leg, and now he accuses the Samsung company of selling him a terminal with a manufacturing defect. The Galaxy S7 Edge terminal in question was bought in March and on May 30 it decided to end its days, while its owner was at work on a construction site.

The man's pants melted after the battery exploded and melted the casing, skin grafts being needed to cover the portions affected by this incident. The American claims that this incident caused him permanent injuries that affect his daily life, and this is as true as it can be, based on what he describes.

Samsung has its first lawsuit over the Galaxy S7 Edge battery

For the Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung used different batteries from those used in the Galaxy Note 7, so there is no connection between this defective component, but still the problems remain. In this idea, the man demands damages from Samsung for the injuries he suffered and the Koreans will most likely be forced to pay them by a judge.

They were in the case file attached and pictures of the terminal that caught fire, but also of the burns that were treated by doctors, so Samsung will be able to see what kind of injuries its terminal generated. Unfortunately, there are problems of this kind that affect our everyday life, and the companies that launch such devices must be held accountable.
