Austria, France, Italy and the Netherlands want Apple's money

Apple will have to pay truncated taxes imposed by the European Commission, as more countries demand money from the Americans.

Austria, France, Italy and the Netherlands want a part of the 13 billion euros that the European Commission collects from Apple in the form of retroactive tax. Although Ireland has stated that it does not want to force Apple to pay this amount of money according to the requirements of the European Commission, Austria, France, Italy and the Netherlands are of a different opinion.

The Dutch Minister of Finance, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, warned the Apple company that it must prepare to pay the tax that the European Commission imposes. The statement came after a 2-day meeting with other finance ministers from Europe, the conference taking place in the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava.

Apart from the Netherlands, Austria, Italy and France are also interested in collecting part of the money that Apple should pay them. The Austrian finance minister confirmed the interest of his country and France or Italy regarding the money that Apple should pay for the profit registered in Europe.

What these countries want now is not really that new, Italy is now asking some of those from Apple to pay tax for a profit of 1.3 billion dollars, something that has already been done. Apple then paid several hundred million dollars in the form of tax, and now the Italians still want to receive money from the American company.

"Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem appeared to be first in line, warning Apple on Saturday to "get ready" to pay up. His comment came after a two-day meeting of his EU counterparts in the Slovak capital, Bratislava. Other EU countries, including Austria, Italy and France, are following the case closely, and expressing interest in a possible payout, according to Austria's Finance Minister Hans Joerg Schelling, who spoke on the sidelines of the two-day summit."

Considering that these three countries are demanding money from Apple, others will certainly come to do the same, and in the end those from Apple will be forced to pay a large amount of money.
