The iPhone 7 has a 1960 mAh battery

The iPhone 7 battery has 1960 mAh, while the iPhone 7 Plus battery has 2900 mAh, the information being officially provided by TENAA.

Some of the last unknowns regarding iPhone 7 si 7 iPhone Plus were revealed today by TENAA, a government agency for the certification of smartphones sold in China. According to TENAA, the iPhone 7 has a 1960 mAh battery, while the iPhone 7 Plus has a 2900 mAh battery, both of which are larger than those of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

More precisely, the iPhone 7 with its 1960 mAh battery has an energy storage capacity that is 245 mAh higher than that of the iPhone 6S launched last year by Apple. The difference is approximately 15% between the iPhone 7 battery and the iPhone 6S battery, but the battery autonomy will increase by up to 2 hours between the two devices.

iPhone 7 Plus has a 2900 mAh battery, the difference compared to the iPhone 6S Plus battery being only 150 mAh in this case, the old terminal having a capacity of 2750 mAh. The difference between the storage capacities of the two terminals gives the iPhone 7 PLus terminal an increase in autonomy of only one hour, much more than the A10 Fusion chip.

Various rumors from the last few months told us that these will be the capacities for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus batteries, and now we have an official confirmation for them.

The Apple company promised us better autonomy for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus compared to iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, and apart from the improvement of the new A10 Fusion chip we also have bigger batteries. Thanks to them, we will complain less about the autonomy offered by Apple smartphones, but it remains to be seen what the real experience will be.
