iOS 10 vs iOS 9.3.5 – battery life

iOS 10 and iOS 9.3.5 appear in a video test that compares their battery life to show us what we should expect.

iOS 10, or iOS 10.0.1, is compared with iOS 9.3.5 in a new battery autonomy test in order to show us how well our terminals will work after the update. We are talking about a test in which the iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S terminals are compared, with the Geekbench application keeping track of the performances.

Those from Geekbench have created a special test that checks the battery life of a smartphone, and iOS 10 seems to offer a better life than iOS 9.3.5. The only exception is the iPhone 6, this terminal having better results in iOS 9.3.5 than in iOS 10, but the difference is imperceptible in daily use.

We are talking about 1 minute and 10 seconds more autonomy for iOS 9.3.5 compared to iOS 10 on the iPhone 6, in the case of the other terminals the differences are greater. The biggest difference is noticeable in the case of the iPhone 6S, where iOS 10 has an autonomy of 19 minutes better than in the case of iOS 9.3.5, but you won't feel it either.

Basically, based on this test we can see that the battery life between iOS 10 and iOS 9.3.5 is similar, with a slight plus for iOS 10, and this is great. The Apple company managed to offer us an improvement for battery autonomy in a major update for iOS, and this was not normally expected from something like this.
