7 iPhone Plus it has a 2910 mAh battery implemented by the Apple company, 250 mAh higher than the one in the iPhone 6S Plus, and this implies a theoretical change in the charging time. Basically, the iPhone 7 Plus should charge harder than its predecessor using the standard charger, but is it so?
The iPhone 7 Plus charging time is 170 minutes using the standard 5W 1A charger provided by Apple in the terminal package. If we use a 10W charger with 2A, then the iPhone 7 charging time is reduced to 135 minutes, the difference between charging times not being that big, unfortunately.
Comparing with the iPhone 6S Plus, the difference in charging time is non-existent, but compared to the iPhone 6 Plus, we are talking about a 20-minute improvement in charging time. Basically, the iPhone 7 Plus charges as fast as the iPhone 6S Plus, although it has a 250 mAh larger battery than its predecessor.
The difference compared to the iPhone 6 Plus, which has an almost identical capacity battery, is 30 minutes, and here we practically see the major improvement made by the Apple company. Unfortunately, we do not have a fast charging system for the iPhone 7 Plus, otherwise charging would take up to 100 minutes, as it happens with the Galaxy Note 7.
