iPhone 7 Plus vs iPhone 7 - how much does 3 GB of RAM matter?

iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 are compared in a new test to show us if all 3 GB of RAM are used properly.

7 iPhone Plus it has 3 GB RAM, one more than iPhone 7, the Apple company avoiding making any mention of the usefulness of that extra GB of RAM. In the video clip below, someone tried to show us if this additional GB of RAM is worth the money, and the answer is not quite as simple as it seems at first glance.

To test the ability of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to use the entire available RAM, a lot of pages were opened in the Safari browser of iOS 10. Returning to the first open pages, both terminals reload them completely instead of opening them from RAM, sign that the iPhone 7 Plus does not use that extra GB of RAM for iOS, but probably for the dual camera.

The differences in performance in Safari are not large enough to show us that the difference of 1 GB of RAM matters between iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. However, in photo/video processing applications, or recording photos and videos using the new dual camera, that extra GB of RAM could prove to be extremely useful.

Having said that, if you intend to buy the iPhone 7 Plus just to benefit from the extra 1 GB of RAM in daily use, you might be very disappointed. If you buy it to use it in other tasks that require a lot of resources, then you will definitely appreciate the performance that your terminal will offer.
