Instagram has launched the Save Draft feature

Last night Instagram launched a new function called Save Draft, which has the role of allowing us to save some posts for later publication.

Instagram launched the Save Draft function for the application used by over 400 million people all over the planet, it being available since last night. In the image below you can see what this function looks like, it allows us to save as a draft a post that we are not yet ready to publish within the network.

Users have been asking for the implementation of such a function for several years, and here it is finally offered by Instagram, after a testing period. Basically, when you try to make a post and press the button to cancel its creation, you will see this alert message in which you have the option to save draft.

The button to save a post as a draft only appears if I have modified the picture with filters, if I have applied a tag for someone, or if I have added a caption or a location. Simply starting a post with a picture won't activate that button to save the message as a draft, so you'll know why it won't appear when you don't edit the picture.

The Save Draft feature for Instagram was activated from the company's servers last night and you should be able to enjoy it today.
