The hacker who broke into Pippa Middleton's iCloud account has been arrested

Pippa Middleton is the sister of the much more famous Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, she being married to Prince William of Great Britain. A few weeks ago it was discovered that a hacker managed to break into his iCloud account from which he stole no less than 3000 pictures that he was willing to sell for the sum of 50.000 pounds to anyone who was interested in buying them.

We are talking about pictures in which not only Pippa Middleton and her husband appear, but also Prince William, together with their children, which is the reason why the price was so high. Although the hacker managed to take the photos from iCloud, the police arrested him very quickly, and now he will probably be imprisoned for several years because of this hack.

Although we are talking about 3000 images taken from iCloud, the police did not say how they were stolen, but most likely we are talking about a phishing attack. iCloud accounts are extremely difficult to crack, especially if there is a 2-step authentication system activated, so the hacker probably tricked Pippa Middleton into telling her the password to her Apple ID.

From here on, things became very simple, he could download any kind of iCloud backup as if he were the owner, and the photos from the iCloud Photo Library, the iCloud Photo Library, were immediately downloaded to his terminal. This is not the first hack of this kind made against a star, much more resounding others have been made in the past, but the frequency of their execution reveals just how big the problem is.

"Police investigating claims that the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton's iCloud account was hacked have arrested a 35-year-old man. ...about 3,000 photographs were stolen and that it was offered images by someone who contacted it asking for £50,000 within 48 hours. It said the images included shots of the duchess's children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte."
