A new 6 iPhone Plus caught fire just a few days after a Galaxy Note 7 led to the evacuation of a plane from the USA, but also a week after another Apple terminal burned in a student's pants. According to the woman who discovered it, it started to emit smoke and caught fire out of nowhere while it was on the bedside table, burning part of it, as well as two stands for the Apple Watch. As in all cases when the battery explodes, the terminal started making certain sounds before emitting smoke and catching fire, so the woman did not wake up with it burning.
To turn off the iPhone 6 Plus terminal, the woman's boyfriend threw the Apple product into a sink, and then they called 911 to report the incident. The iPhone 6 Plus terminal was charging while it caught fire, so we are talking about a problem related to the battery and the Lightning charging port.

The woman does not say if she used an original Apple charger, or a third-party one that may not have been from a certified manufacturer, cases of this kind involving iPhone terminals based on counterfeit chargers. If this is the situation here as well, then Apple is not to blame in the situation where the terminal was loaded with an accessory manufactured by a manufacturer that is not certified.
If the problem is with the battery, then this is the second case in a week in which an iPhone 6 Plus catches fire out of nowhere and question marks start to arise regarding the safety of these terminals. We are talking about a product whose design was conceived in 2014, but which theoretically should be safe for use in almost any kind of conditions.
If problems of this kind continue, then Apple risks a humiliation similar to that of Samsung.
