40% of Samsung phone users leave the company

A study published today reveals that 40% of Samsung customers in the US will not buy another Korean-made phone.

A study carried out the other day in the USA reveals that Samsung's image has been affected for a long time due to the Galaxy Note 7 problems with exploding batteries. According to this study, 40% of those who own Samsung phones say that they will never buy a phone produced by this company again.

The percentage increased from 34% just three weeks ago, a sign that the total defection within the Samsung company has seriously affected consumer confidence. It is also normal for the world to run away from a company that lies and is not able to solve the problems of its own products, and the Koreans probably expected something like this.

We are talking here about US consumers, all participants owning a Samsung phone, more than half being loyal customers for more than 3 years. Among those who will no longer buy Samsung phones, 8% intend to go to the Google Pixel, 70% to another Android smartphone, and the remaining 22% to the iPhone, or in extremely rare cases, Windows Phone.

What this US study tells us could be similar to what will be seen in other countries in a few months, after things settle down. Those from Samsung will no longer boast that many customers still choose a Galaxy smartphone, as they did a few weeks ago when they recalled the Galaxy Note 7, but they will see how much lies cost and putting people's lives in danger.

"Of those surveyed, which include 1,000 Samsung smartphone owners (of any devices, not just the Note 7), has found that 40 percent of respondents won't buy another device from the manufacturers, which represents a 6 percent increase in the number of buyers looking elsewhere compared to the first time Branding Brand ran this survey just after the first Note 7 recall."
