Apple no longer secures the iPhone in stores

Recently, the Apple company made a very surprising change for its stores around the world, which will please thieves. If until recently Apple installed safety cables to secure the iPhone terminals from the tables on which they were exposed, now things are different and the terminals are no longer protected in the same way.

In order to simplify the way iPhone terminals are presented in Apple Stores around the world, the Apple company has removed the safety cables. In this idea, all exposed iPhone terminals will be able to be taken by customers and used as if they were their own device, being much easier to steal.

Apple wants its customers to be able to experience the iPhone as they do with their own smartphone, to be more easily convinced to buy the device. Moreover, Apple imagines that its customers will also try cases with the terminals displayed in stores and will buy accessories together with the device they will leave the store with.

Although this change will make it easier for thieves who want to steal iPhone terminals from stores, the surveillance cameras will be monitored more carefully by the security people. Moreover, all stolen terminals can be blocked by Apple via iCloud, and then they will never be able to be unlocked again, not even with payment.

"Apple says this is to allow people to hold them properly, try cases on them and even see how they feel in your pocket. It's a bold move, especially given the lack of visible security in the building. We couldn't spot a single CCTV camera, although any phone taken out of the store will set off an alarm. If not returned, the phones will also be rendered unusable."

Apple's move is a very brave one and there are very high chances that future customers will be easier to convince to buy a new iPhone.
