The US Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration have decided to ban the Galaxy Note 7 from all planes flying over American territory. The Galaxy Note 7 is now marked as a dangerous product that is prohibited on airplanes, so all travelers who own such a terminal must leave it at home when traveling by plane in the US.
People who board planes with a Galaxy Note 7 without taking into account this prohibition and hide the terminal in their luggage, risk being arrested and criminally investigated, apart from a fine. Those who try to board with a Galaxy Note 7 will have the terminal confiscated, if they insist on traveling, but they could also be fined.

The ban has been in effect since last night in the USA, so all those who traveled by plane found that they had to give up the Galaxy Note 7. "Individuals who own or possess a Samsung Galaxy Note7 device may not transport the device on their person, in carry-on baggage, or in checked baggage on flights to, from, or within the United States. This prohibition includes all Samsung Galaxy Note7 devices.. We recognize that banning these phones from airlines will inconvenience some passengers, but the safety of all those aboard an aircraft must take priority. We are taking this additional step because even one fire incident inflight poses a high risk of severe personal injury and puts many lives at risk."
The ban is unprecedented for US aviation, and it comes with a change made by the airlines, which have special anti-fire bags for terminals that can explode. Having said that, if you happen to be traveling through the US, or to the US, and you have a Galaxy Note 7, it would be good to return it to where you bought it.
Considering the decision taken in the USA, it is expected that the European authorities will react in a similar way in the next period.
