A recent study conducted in the USA reveals that young people continue to love iPhone terminals and prefer it to smartphones running the Android operating system. The study was conducted on 10.000 young people in the US during the past weeks, and 79% of them say that the next smartphone they intend to buy will be the iPhone.
The percentage is higher than the 75% registered during April in the USA, a sign that young people are increasingly interested in the iPhone terminals sold by Apple. Also on a positive trend is the number of those who own an iPhone, their percentage increasing from 69% in April to 74% at the moment, the percentage difference being the same as in the case of purchase intention.
Considering that 74% own an iPhone now, from the remaining 26% we can conclude that we are talking about Android terminals and those with other operating systems. The difference between iPhone and Android is huge at the moment and will probably increase in the coming months, thanks to the popularity of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in the US.
Young people love iPhone, ignore Android
Apple always had outlet to young Americans with its smartphones, and in 2016 things do not seem to change for the American giant. The iPhone is fashionable in the US among young Americans, and those from Apple know how to always keep it in their attention through the functions they implement for them in each new iteration.
Separate from the data on smartphone preferences, the study says that Snapchat is the most popular application among young people. Behind them are Instagram and Twitter, and those from Facebook occupy only the fourth position, and this certainly does not convince them, which is why they keep trying to copy Snapchat.
