The terminal had been bought just a week ago and it seems that it caught fire after being left in the car, under some clothes, while the owner was surfing.
The owner claims that the iPhone 7 terminal was not hit in any way before being left in the car and that it was charged all the time only with the original accessories received from Apple. Despite this, he claims that the terminal would have burned his clothes under him, but also a part of the car's interior, in the area where he had been left and covered with his clothes.
It's hard to say if we're talking about a faulty battery, or if the car overheated causing this explosion of the iPhone 7. Regardless of the situation, Apple has stated that it is aware of this incident and is investigating it to find out if there is a manufacturing problem with the iPhone 7 terminals.
