Facebook steals the filters of the Prisma application

Facebook will implement video filters for the Live platform, they being identical to those of the Prisma application.

Facebook is preparing to steal another popular function of an application extremely loved by users all over the world, precisely Prisma. Yesterday, one of the managers of the Facebook company demonstrated on the stage of a conference a new type of filter for the Facebook Live platform, it being extremely similar to those of Prisma.

Those from Facebook intend to allow users Facebook Live to apply filters over the video streams they transmit, these being identical to those of Prisma. Recently, the Prisma application introduced the possibility of applying filters to video clips, without using an Internet connection, and Facebook steals this function as well.

The filters introduced by the Prisma application have proven to be extremely popular, with many people using them, and Facebook is trying to take advantage of the trend. Of course, Facebook claims that they have a completely different source of innovation than Prisma, but we all know that the reality is completely different from what the Americans say.

Facebook has stolen various functions of Snapchat, or of other competing applications, and I don't think it will be long until these filters reach the Instagram application as well. Everything that reaches Facebook, for photo editing, also reaches Instagram, but now Facebook Live has a series of very simple filters for video editing.

No one knows how long it will take until these new filters are released, but we will probably have them available soon.

"This is a real-time style transfer that's happening on-device so styles can be applied to videos as they're being taken."
